Pros

Current on educational buzz words, current trends, and non-functionable infrastructure systems but not current on ethics, accountability and practice.

Cons

Organization tends to stack the stats, blame failures on tech or scapegoats and string employees along or pit against each other via triangulation. Organization tends to retaliate against employees that are asked to be honest. The ranks are corrupt with nepotism and unqualified personnel Mid Administration and Certified/Classified Field support are neglected with lack of resources and a consistent change of pedagogy . Upper Administration tends to rational and/or blame others for lack of success to ensure they make PERA needed $limits for retirement ... Not developing productive members of society OLD GOAL and NEW GOAL are much of the same thing just brighter color of red lipstick

It was a great job that had a great balance between working from home and working in person with great people and students

Cons

I had no cons with the job or organizations. I only left because we were moving states.

Pros

High Integrity Professionals: I was surrounded by amazing colleagues who provided a strong sense of camaraderie and support despite the environment.

Cons

Abrupt restructuring and lack of leadership transparency Impersonal Terminations and Role Devaluation: Leadership executed abrupt, "no-notice" layoffs of tenured staff via Teams meetings. The subsequent posting of nearly identical positions with new titles indicates that the move was focused on reducing payroll rather than genuine restructuring, showing a clear disregard for employee tenure. Institutional Protection of Toxicity: A senior member of management remains on staff, despite formal investigations and reports of employee mistreatment, indicating a lack of accountability at the executive level. Cultural Erosion: The disregard for staff well-being and the lack of compassion during exits has caused significant damage to the internal culture.
