If you are an engineer do not expect to make a career at LogMeIn. Engineers are not valued. They are just replaceable, expendable resources.
On the other hand, if you are a manager all your bad deeds are forgiven. You can abuse your power, care about nothing but your own advancement, even commit serious misdeeds against your people, you are forgiven or promoted by LogMeIn. HR knows this and looks away. They always protect the person with more power. They do no justice. They do what they believe the best interest of LogMeIn is, but they are wrong.
Managers are not nominated by competence but based on how well they can position themselves. They are not tested in any way if they are fit for the role. They may be narcissistic careerists, LogMeIn accepts them as managers. Managers are sent to trainings but it does not matter because their core personality will not change.
Not all managers are like that. There are really good managers here. But if you are not careful your manager makes your life miserable and LogMeIn will not help you. And the corrupt managers are still at LogMeIn making a career with HR's help and approval.
LogMeIn could be a great place to work without all the bureaucracy and corruption.
