Pros

well the only pro is Person who leads Ops is level headed and down to earth.. understands certain things.. There are no other pros from organisations standpoint ohh yes except for timely salary.. which has also got delayed at times by couple of days.. but will discount that

Cons

Tons of things where do we even start - Founder group is busy siphoning off the money, Because every year appraisal comes they do nasty things..so that they’ll give poor appraisals in lieu of that.. - HR team, well let’s not even talk about them.. they are bunch of jokers .. specially people who lead the functions like HRBP and Talent Acquisition.. they are sitting and getting salaries for not doing a single paisa work… all they would do is shout on top of their voice in offices or act as spy and do information exchange from here to there.. founder has turned blind and deaf towards HR Functions.. inspite of such pathetic culture … HR team is never impacted or questioned.. across my experience haven’t seen such a bad HR team.. they should just remove Human from their names.. because they clearly aren’t human.. - AI is their new scapegoat.. blame everything on AI.. - Engineering culture used to be good.. but now that’s decline.. - they used to have good engineer culture till 2024..but it has just declined post that..

Pros

You can learn a lot and gain hands-on experience.

Cons

No work-life balance. Constant pressure and unrealistic expectations. Culture driven by fear rather than support. Frequent layoffs create a sense of insecurity. Too much politics and favoritism. Deployments happen almost every day, often without proper planning. Frequent production breakages and firefighting. Little to no documentation. Poor code quality practices with minimal or no code comments. Focus is on "git commit, git push, and move on" rather than maintainability. Technical debt keeps piling up, creating more chaos with every release. Lack of long-term engineering thinking and ownership.

Pros

Once it was a good company with good culture. But it’s just past.

Cons

What was once a good company has completely lost its culture due to a few recent hires. It truly feels like one bad fish has polluted the entire pond. There is absolutely no motivation, no support, and an environment so toxic that team members are pushed to tears and mentally tortured until they eventually resign. Micromanagement is at its peak. Every single minute of your day is tracked — your laptop logs, even a one-minute gap, is monitored and conveniently used as a reason to threaten or terminate employees when performance cannot be questioned. There is zero empathy. Employees who have genuinely given their best — earning multiple appreciations, rewards, recognitions, appraisals, and even promotions — are treated as disposable. What’s worse is that long-standing, loyal employees who once shared strong bonds with their teammates are slowly influenced by these new toxic leaders, turning into silent spectators or unwilling participants. These “parasites” are slowly eating away at the company, and by the time leadership realizes the damage, the overall rating will already have hit rock bottom. This is hands down one of the worst companies to join if you value your mental health. Your day starts and ends feeling like you’re sitting on a hot tawa, constantly being roasted, living in fear that you could be fired over something as minor as a typo in an email. If constant anxiety, fear, and emotional burnout is what you’re looking for — then go ahead and join. Otherwise, stay far away.
