Cons

Yes Stacey, it hurts to read the reviews but sadly they are all true. I haven't worked at a company we're your coworkers keep quitting, and the ones who stay know this company doesn't care about them. I can tell you that the CFO of this company almost never steps a foot into the office to see how are the employees doing . And when he does it , it does it with an arrogant attitude. To the satellite employees: The owners rarely interact with the employees at the San Diego Office , and we are just across the parking lot from their offices! So don't expect that they will drive all the way up to see you . They underpay their drivers. The mileage is under the IRS pay rate. They will ask you to use your personal vehicle to do Guide outs while the company cars are sitting at the parking lot. If you get lucky to drive the company cars, you will be driving a broken vehicle with no A/C. I've seen many recruiters, administrative assistants, managers ,and supervisors just come in and out of this company. Employees actually quit on the spot . You will be ask to take on multiple positions while making the same amount of money. About working 50 hrs; it is true. You can't go home until the orders are filled. Also, be prepared to work with the worst office equipment. The owners of this company cannot invest in one good chair or mouse pad for you to use . You will be also cramped into an office with other employees. Many other things this company is doing wrong , is all about the money, they count every penny. It is very sad to see that you forgott that you were once sitting in front of the office greeting people, visiting clients to get their business, doing all the paperwork, etc.. Your current employees are doing exactly what you do; just caring for their money. There is no reason to care for your employeer and help it grow when it doesn't care about you . Start acting Instead of just defending yourself from all the reviews that are telling you the same thing ! You can literally count with your fingers the employees that have stayed with your company more than 5 years . This clearly indicates that from your 4 offices and all the years that you have been in business no employee wants to stay.

Go-Staff Response

I think you may have misunderstood our position on these reviews. We don't mind reviews, we welcome the feedback. The only thing we don't like is that it seems that Glassdoor will let the same person use multiple aliases to write many, MANY negative reviews mentioning the exact same things (we acknowledge that not every single negative review is written by the same person, but it's obvious to us that MANY of them are). We'll respond to you now as we have multiple times before- Some of your complaints have merit - we do require some mandatory overtime in certain positions. Still, our average hourly workweeks have gone down by a tremendous amount. When we were first opening our satellite offices, there were times where people were regularly working very hard, very long weeks. This was nearly unavoidable as every new business has issues to iron out. Today, it's EXTREMELY rare that anyone works more than 50 hours in a week. Most people are somewhere in the 40-50 hour range, and many of our employees welcome that due to the higher pay they get for the overtime hours. A few things you say that we disagree with though. First, that we do not care about our employees and that our CFO will walk around and act arrogantly towards them. Our CFO works extremely hard to keep our business growing so that we're able to continue to grow our business. When he is able to go walk through the offices, he's anything but arrogant. In fact, it's often to make the rounds with employees and drop off brownies for them that we get from a local bakery down the street. We also take the time/expense to frequently order coffee and donuts for the office from UberEats and/or AmazonNow. We frequently come in on the weekends just to stock the office with fruit from our own farm to ensure that not only the internal office employees get to enjoy it, but also the external workers as well. We only got into this business to help people find work and careers to better themselves and take care of their families. I'll be the first to admit that we're not perfect, and neither is our company, but I don't think any reasonable person would say that we don't care greatly about our employees. We've also made multiple upgrades to our offices over the last couple of years to help our employees. Things like getting better software to make it easier for our recruiters to fill positions quickly, something that has really helped reduce hours/workload. We've also invested in better programs to train new employees to get them up to speed quickly. We spent a lot of time developing systems to create better support/assistance from corporate to our satellite offices. We know that there's still room for improvement as well, and won't stop trying to make this a better place for people to work. I know you are still obviously upset at how your employment ended, and I'm genuinely sorry that you feel that way. I'm not sure if writing all these negative reviews is making you feel better/move on, but I hope at least something positive can come out of it.

Pros

Benefits are decent, and my coworkers have been great to work with, but everything else this company is awful.

Cons

- Leadership repeatedly makes poor, short sighted decisions focused on quick gains - Long term consequences of decisions are consistently ignored - The same mistakes are repeated due to lack of accountability - Responsibility for failures is often avoided instead of addressed - Employees are treated with little respect despite carrying the workload - Staff are expected to absorb the impact of poor decisions from leadership - Morale is negatively affected by repeated mismanagement - The gap between decision makers and actual work reality is extremely clear
