Pros

Flexible work timings Some really good HR policies (which are continuously getting diluted by the current management)

1. Today's GlobalLogic is not the GlobalLogic I joined 4 years ago. The DNA of this organization has changed. 4 years ago this was an organization which hired people of real quality. Somewhere down the line we started compromising on that. It has been downhill since then. And then the re-org of early 2009 accelerated the downhill slide. 2. The top management may have some grand vision but nobody has any idea how to reach there. There is absolutely no transparency about key things like the sales pipeline etc. beyond the top management. The only thing that we hear is the drum beating about very very large accounts that are supposed to come to us. 3. The pay is average at best. 4. There has been gradual undermining/dilution of the "Google like" open culture that we had earlier by the current management and will cease to exist in the next couple of years. 5. Lots and lots of good and experienced people left. However, I have very fond memories of working in this organization and was associated with some of the best people I have ever met (and almost all of them left) and will wish that it becomes successful.

Pros

None. Working from home used to be a perk, until they changed the schedule and made every employee log in and out 12 times a day.

Cons

If I could give this workplace a -10 stars, I would. This workplace stole years of my life, made false promises, and ruined my career trajectory. Upper leadership is cutthroat and awful. I was moved into over six different roles during the 2.5 years I worked here without any say or consent. There is zero feedback loop, management does not want to know what employees think. The phrase change management is thrown around constantly here, which after a while just translates to bad management. The most toxic, fear based culture was created that there is no turning back from. You have to track your time in at least three different systems throughout the day. There is no trust that exists between employees to upper management. Full time employees are callously laid off monthly, while they hire new people at a fraction of the price. I will not be surprised if I am part of a class action lawsuit in coming years. I would not wish this place of employment on my worst enemy. Stay away.
