Pros

Lots of latitude to put your stamp on a new company. Diverse workforce with experience from across the entire semiconductor industry. Innovation is encouraged Lots of growth opportunity for both company and employee

Cons

There are few systems in place. Doing what should be a simple task (like measuring wafers) may turn into a scavenger hunt as you track down the one shaman who knows the tricks to do what you want to do. Lots of turmoil at upper management levels contributes to a sense of chaos throughout the company. Changing missions/roadmaps at the sites leads to confusion and waste in planning and executing a factory startup. It's hard to be successful when you change the requirements for your factory in the middle of a startup (28nm to 32nm to 20nm....).

Pros

Very supportive team and management to work with from the beginning. Many training classes need to be taken in moving forward to align with the company policies and technical procedures. Good benefits and competitive salary. Have a very positive plan for long term career and educational support tuition. The interview and hiring process are long but informative and responded promptly.

Cons

There are many training classes to take so it may put more stress on a new hire if you do not have a good plan.

Pros

Everyone is willing to help and the training is actually good training

Cons

If I didn’t know someone that worked since I was going to overnights I didn’t really meet anyone on my team except my manager once. Also I wouldn’t know who to reach out like manger wise if I didn’t know someone who already worked here
