A place with great atmosphere - Relocation Manager Gerson Relocation Services Employee Review

The people are just great. Most of them have been with the company for over 20 years (some over 30) so they are very experienced. Takes a while to get to know them. They're not all big on conversation but when you do, you find that they are just great. Hours are good since they reduced them (and the pay)

Since most people have been here for so many years, they haven't moved with the times. Technology is still quite old and the processes to which people work are also quite dated. Staff are not motivated and you get the feeling they are still there because they don't know how good they are. Promotions only happen if someone in a senior role retires. No sick pay either.

My first experience of Gerson was as a customer as I was relocating back to the UK after 4 years away as an expat, pleased to say that everything went very smoothly! My interviewers really set the scene of life at Gerson by offering a flexible time for my interview (which helped as I was living elsewhere), I was offered a job during the interview and the offer very quickly followed. The team are really focused on quality and delivering 5* service. The company is constantly looking for new ways to enhance the working culture and how services are delivered to our clients.

We're based on an industrial estate, most employees drive but if not, lunch options are limited.
