Pros

Fair salary for the Atlanta area. Enough to get by. Research faculty are top notch and the facilities are competitive with anywhere other university in the country.

Cons

Administration are not fully appreciative of their employees. Very rigid on protocol, raise fees for graduate students every few semesters. While my immediate boss, who is my contact for all of my research, was amazing, the administration of the institute was quite rude and unpleasant.

Pros

Great Research Environment, with multiple opportunities for collaboration. A great place overall for grad school!

Cons

Can be a bit competitive at times, but really depends on the lab / advisor you work with

Pros

- Free Housing - Meal Plan - One of the better on campus job for students in my opinion (still able to be involved in other activities as a student on campus)

Cons

- Duty part of the job (Being on call and getting late night lock outs but this is rare), and definitely can still do homework in between doing duty rounds - experience can also depend on your hall director / area (but regardless still served on great RA teams, can be great if you have a co-ra but also been good at time being a single RA on the floor (no need to coordinate schedule if you do events together as a single RA unless you alternate events with your co)
