Pros
The people at GP make it the organization of choice, if you value great working relationships and down-to-earth attitudes. I don't think I ever met a "stranger" working at GP. Plenty of blue collar workers in the upper ranks, in fact the company philosophy supports career progression and transitions based on value creation. "Where can you create the most value?" is the mantra. If there's not a specific role that describes the amazing work you do or you are simply doing something different than your actual job description, you can work with your supervisor to tailor your job description and create a position for the actual job you are performing. It's a really great company in this regard.
Cons
Engineers more or less run the show which is okay, however, Principle Based Management (PBM) guidelines should apply evenly to all employees regardless or their position.
