The company is going through massive layoffs in phases. This includes Koch Industries as a whole. They made lots of money but instead of valuing their employees and not backfilling roles as people quit or retired they decided to layoff thousands of employees (quietly) in phases. Last, the MBM culture they so espouse is now online and classes are all virtual. Just a few years before they said MBM was the foundation for their success and would never lose the live training. Well, I guess things change. This all goes to show Koch and Georgia-Pacific are not the same core value driven company they once were. They may still be privately help, but make no mistake they are officially acting like a publicly traded company only caring for the bottom line at the expense of the employee.
