Pros
- Friendly and responsive coworkers/direct leadership who are supportive and willing to help you succeed - Paid group supervision - Lots of upward mobility if you stay long enough.
Cons
- High turnover rates and organizational inefficiency impede on client's access to care and therapist access to clients - Training is insufficient, and is mostly Relias slides. The only way I started to learn to do clinical work was to run into obstacles and then ask about it, wasting a lot of time/effort in the process. Better training would cut down on this - Overall part-time pay for this masters-level job is lower than part-time retail work. - Company pays extremely low for non-billable services and then sets large swathes of restrictions for what they will pay for. - Company does not pay for individual supervision (which certain licenses require) - Full time workers all seem overwhelmed
