Pros
The mission is an admirable one and working with the Scholars.
Cons
My experience at Generation Hope, like many others, was one marred by retaliatory practices and a hostile environment carried out by inept supervisors, worsened by the delusion and denialism of the executive leadership team. The dissonance felt on a weekly basis when being told by leadership that the organization is at a positive apex while pushing out around 15 employees (the highest turnover I've ever seen) was astronomical, and only worsened the deep mistrust in leadership sowed by their own doing. Executive leadership has never been more exposed in where their priorities lie as they took a scorched earth approach in order to snuff out the union efforts at all costs, weaponizing those the program aided and demonizing those who worked on the union efforts. The leaders here very clearly do not care about their own staff, as shown through them pushing out about ~40% of the team; They care most about unsustainable expansion at all costs. I could not discourage working anywhere more.
