General Steel Buildings Response
8yThank you for taking a moment to write a review. Your statements are so far from factual I wonder if you have the right company.
Let's clear up a few things:
*If you have a "Sales Background" you should be used to having a paycheck two weeks in arrears, it's quite common in commission sales.
*General Steel has one of the highest retention rates in the industry, with veterans that have worked here over 15 years.
*Training is extensive and ongoing. At General Steel you train with the Owner and the VP of Sales along with the sales managers.
*A rookie (new salesman with General Steel) has taken the "Salesman of the Year" award the last two years in a row, making over 110K in their first year with us. Both of those individuals are still with us and doing great! We have a few that started in Feb of this year that are on track to beat last years best!
We let our candidates know that this isn't a "training ground" for new sales people & that this isn't an easy sale! Our base plus commission structure along with the amazing work / life balance of a Monday - Friday work week are among the many reasons our employee's love working here.
