When I started at Genea years ago they had a great culture and many employees that had been their a long time and those people made Genea what it was. The company started not doing as well financially and the CEO panicked and let go some of the best employees that made Genea what it was. All the decisions are made by the Board and CEO and it is run as a dictatorship by just a couple people that are highly out of touch with the employees and their needs. The employees are no longer put first. There is a lot of talk at monthly townhall meetings about how well the company is doing but come time for employee raises they say they don't have the funds, yet people at the top I heard were still getting significant raises. They did a large layoff and let go so some really high performing people that were great culture adds too. There's a couple great people still here, but other than that the company is really going downhill and losing touch of what made it special (the people).
