Pros
Great stepping stone (very easy to make connections with companies within the coworking space. You're basically getting paid to network) Marketable job title for future positions. Extravert's paradise. Great way to get to know Richmond better (connections with people who are very invested in the city).
Cons
Very low pay for the high amount of responsibility you have. They are open about the fact that they look for people who have been undervalued in their previous jobs, almost creating a savior complex, and seem to take advantage of that by underpaying and dismissing employee concerns by pointing out how much better it is than previous jobs. Lacking structure. High turnover rates. Little loyalty to employees (several people have been fired on the spot for unjust reasons). Unrealistic sales goals with little to no commission bonuses. Mostly hire attractive young women (to the admission of one of the owners), putting Community Managers in uncomfortable and sexist situations. Poor company culture. Very little support from management.
