Pros
Incredible 8 week training program for sales, extremely generous PTO (20/yr) and strong work/life balance (office is empty at 5:05), beautiful FL environment, in and out of the office. Beach and 5 shopping malls within 20 min drive. Values and culture are extremely important and those who don't align will not last long. Investment in your education, personal, and professional development keep you on your toes and consistently growing and learning. Your compensation is unlimited and benefits are near the top in corporate america. If you work hard and are good at what you do - $100K is more than attainable. If your are lazy and do just enough to get by - $65K is more realistic. Double digit commissions and quarterly bonuses each equaling a full year's rent is also nice. Bright people in the office through a very rigorous interview process (4th hardest last year behind MBB). No state income tax, low cost of living, and growing city with economy and housing market rebounding. Chicos is also HQ in Fort Myers with Hertz moving here in 2014. Local university (FGCU) right down the street. Gartner is a great company for "Yo-pros" in their mid to late 20's.
Cons
Almost too obsessed with bottom line. This is a business though and at the end of the day it's how Wall Street keeps score. If you don't like money...then this company is not for you. Must be very driven, receptive to feedback, and have a strong executive presence. Side note - snowbirds in winter pack the city with tons of old people.
