Pros
- Reasonable work hours and hybrid work. - Unlimited PTO. - A relaxed atmosphere among non-leadership coworkers. - A non-micromanaging manager. - Opportunities to coordinate events, network in the community, and engage with Broward County stakeholders directly. - Occasional happy hours after business hours with the corporate team.
Cons
- Lack of proper training/onboarding for new hires yet VAGUE to no expectations set, especially in managing the significant workload for key clients. Employees were expected to "take initiative" when really you just had to figure it out on your own. - Limited growth opportunities and reluctance towards employees continuing education that will help increase productivity. - Disorganized company culture, with a focus on directors' welfare over other employees' needs. - No company morale. - Unfair treatment of employees, inconsistent enforcement of rules, and subjective financial penalties!!!! - CEO's and Directors poor leadership skills, leading to confusion and miscommunication within the team. - There was a distinct lack of proactive communication and support from our manager, creating an environment where it often felt as though we were operating without effective leadership. - After submitting my resignation, I noticed a degree of passive-aggressiveness from the leadership team. It was disheartening not to experience the support I had hoped for in pursuing a new opportunity, which raised concerns about the level of care for employees' professional growth within the organization. - Compensation structure did not align with the level of responsibility and effort required to effectively handle such critical accounts.
