Pros

Getting to work with kids No housing fee-extra money to pay off debt Transports for the kids to schools and visits Date night and 5 days off a month

Cons

The only real challenge are the kids. They all are different and so we have to constantly try different techniques to help the child succeed.

Gap Ministries Response

This ministry is called to the modern day orphan which presents many challenges. But the mandate of God to minister His love and expect His healing to hurting children is worth any cost we pay individually and as a ministry. Thank you for your service to God's Kingdom by ministering to the least of these. As God enables us we will continue to serve more children and their families with the Love of God.

Pros

I really like the work environment here. Its definately a family feel. There is a large volunteer pool and several people volunteer their time more than 3 days a week. Leadership allows me to make decisions without a lot of oversight. I know that the holy spirit is working thru the people at Gap Ministries to help others in the Tucson community. I feel like the leaders Pam and Greg Ayers always have the best intentions in their hearts when making decisions.

Cons

If you do not like change this isn't the place for you.

Pros

There would have been pros to list if GAP would have abided by their own rules and regulations. It also would have been pros to list if the benefit package as described in the job description.

Cons

This place has a revolving door of houseparents due to poor management as well as poor morals and ethics that lead to only more struggle and trauma for the kids who are supposed to matter the most.
