Pros
Flexible schedule, decent communication, and you get to write about video games
Cons
The pay is only worth it if the dollar has high trade value against your currency. They pay $19 per article. Each article can take up to four hours or more to complete, not including research and all the extra content like links and images they expect you to include. Getting an article pitched approved is quite difficult. They expect you to write about the latest games and create guides, but do not supply any keys for this. You will be asked to write about games you have never played. You can be let go for any reason, including asking for a rate increase. You can make it on GameRant as a freelancer, but your social life, mental health, and bank balance will likely suffer.
