Pros

The convention industry itself is fun and full of some really great people. Hmm. You also get to meet some c/d list celebs and travel to a few different cities 🤷‍♂️

Cons

Where to begin? You're vastly underpaid and overworked. That wouldn't even be as big of an issue if senior leadership weren't the worst people you'll ever work with. Unethical is one word to describe it, but thats what happens when you just hire friends and family members and you either drink the kool-aid when it comes to company, or youre gone. Health issues (both mental and physical) are simply ignored as well. I could go on for days but the other reviews are true. This is a company on the downswing. Stay away. You've been warned!

Pros

- Family environment where we have each others backs - Travel to different cities around the country - President is a cool guy that cares about his staff - Learning environment where you can work with each department - Teamwork is how we succeed - Medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits - Company outings, game nights, movie nights, etc. - The office is a nerd dream. Games, full kitchen, posters, autographs, comics, Funkos and figurines everywhere - Pet friendly environment

Cons

- Pay isn’t competitive but it’s one of those careers that your excited to work for so that helps - Long hours at events. If you aren’t able to work past 12 hours for 4-5 days straight, this isn’t the place for you

Pros

Comicon style events you get to attend and be a part of and meet amazing people and celebrities.

Cons

Leadership is horrible. They will work you to the bone and then yell at you for things that are out of your control. Leadership has anger management issues and expect you to do the work of multiple people which not offing support. You have no autonomy and the work hours while onsite at the cons are horrible but they don't care. They are adding so many new cons but not increasing the team to help with the additional workload.
