Very bad hand-over when I am there to take over my job. On paper its say 30% you will learn online, and rest of 70% will be by your "mentor". That also means if you met a lousy mentor, that's it.
When things goes wrong keep pushing fault on to you, just drag you to a meeting and point to a folder which contains the past 10 years of incidents. There, now you are the subject matter expert. And if in future meeting which can be less than a few days, if you say you aren't clear on the topic, push all the blame to you because you are the so call subject matter expert. This is the worst form of handover without ANY meeting OR proper Briefing formal or informal on the project.
Some people are there in higher position just because they are there longer and knows how to game the GMP system, and knows how to act. Worse is the questions they ask exposed their weakness in basic science, yet...they dare to questions your understanding on basic fundamentals.
There is a reason why in less than my 1 year duration there, close to 50% of the members has left and being replaced.
