Pros
Great People, great work life balance. Varied work and great at empowering employees to take ownership of tasks, projects, etc. Truly global organisation with the opportunity to collaborate with colleague all around the world. The have an excellent benefits package, one of the best for a FTSE 100. HQ in Brentford is an impressive building with great canteen, restaurant, bike shop. They even have a hair dressers!
Cons
Lots of changes in recent years with a lot of outsourcing so lots of good people being made redundant, presumably due to cost savings, however, this is inevitable for most large organisations these day and GSK provides a good redundancy package.
