I loved working here. I started as a dock worker and moved up to a processor and then into an office position before the end of my first year with them.

It’s not really a con but if you do decide to move up with all the opportunities they give you, make sure you are ready.As it can go from easygoing to complex and fast-paced where mistakes can costs $$$$

They are no longer in business

Bought a 56 year old company about 3 years ago. Cut benifits. Halted raises. Took away all bonuses. Siphoned all profits. Spent money on first class ticket,Nice hotels. spread the business so thin they couldnt function. As of July 10th 2025 at 9AM they filed bakruptcy and laid off 92 employees under the warn act. GSC has stopped all operations. Drivers and workers were not compensated for the last 2 weeks.
