Pros

P.S. I worked in the company from 2018 to 2024. So my reviews are based on how the company was at 2024. Opinions may differ now. Aggressive growth potential irrespective of your experience, age, gender and any other factors. If you are good, you will be handed responsibility with trust. Opportunities to grab and grow. Work with latest tech. Flat hierarchy and leadership culture. Pay is fine if you fight for it.

Cons

P.S. I worked in the company from 2018 to 2024. So my reviews are based on how the company was at 2024. Opinions may differ now. Upper management reporting to CEO have to face a lot of scrutiny. Although you will rewarded for good work, at higher levels, no mistake is tolerated. No real CTO culture and hence sometimes bad technical decisions are taken, whose bad effects are faced by ground level engineers. Work life balance is horrendous. Although a product company, client service culture is ultimate motto of the company. With too many client customizations and client specific delivery, it operates underneath like a true blue service company.

Pros

Inclusive, supportive culture: GEP genuinely fosters an inclusive and diverse environment. As a trans individual, I feel fully supported, comfortable being out at work, and consistently gendered correctly by colleagues and leadership. Strong sense of community: The people are what make GEP special. There is a real sense of belonging and mutual respect that is rare in consulting. Exposure to complex, global work: Opportunities to work with global teams and large, sophisticated clients accelerate professional growth. Learning and development: You gain broad consulting experience across industries, categories, and geographies, which builds strong foundational skills. Mission-driven colleagues: Many people at GEP care deeply about their work, their teams, and doing the right thing for clients.

Cons

Fast-paced, high expectations: Like most consulting firms, the workload can be intense, with periods of long hours and tight deadlines. Career progression can vary: Growth opportunities and pacing may depend on project mix, leadership support, and timing. Process maturity: Some internal processes and tools are still evolving, which can occasionally create inefficiencies. Work-life balance can fluctuate: Balance is highly project-dependent and may be challenging during peak delivery periods.
