Summer youth classes(U20) are mainly filled with students who don't want to be there. The majority are sent by their parents during their school break to get an immersion in US culture and English. Unfortunately, this doesn't equate to willing and eager English learners. Also, the school closed(unexpectedly)...

They are flexible with time off and will offer you future opportunities to teach if they liked your teaching and your current contract was short. They are supportive if you have an issue or a problem or need to consultation about a situation in class.

Sometimes their plans change when you arrive at work and you must prepare a totally new lesson in a few minutes (despite your having something planned already). The hire very few teachers full-time (about two) and employ the majority (10ish) part-time only.
