Pros
You get to meet the products you help develop almost anywhere you got its a very good company to put in your CV overall its a solid company, a steady pay, job terminations are rare its a good place to start you career, keeping in mind that you should leave as soon as opportunity presents itself for a workplace better suited for professional growth.
Cons
quality assurance people practically runs the company, the amount of paperwork involved in anything is mind staggering. the is constant talk of quality and better customer service but, in truth everyone is busy covering their rear ends. you can hardly get anything done. organization culture is very aggressive, pep ole get promoted by how forcibly they are able to hammer their views. if you are an engineer there is no clear path to advance your career. it is not uncommon for different units in the company to openly and aggressively compete for resources, to the end of getting better marks. company is amazingly like a Dilbert cartoon, only its less funny when you are living it.
