- There is literally not a single pros that I can name. - Perhaps there is a pros after all, there is something new to talk to my therapist everyday.
Cons
Where do I begin? - The project (iFxxxt) is led by one of the most narcissistic so called leader that I've ever met in my entire life. - Cannot give instruction properly and start blaming people for not following instructions. Always think he's the smartest person in the team with huge ego. - Always accuse team member of not doing something without checking with them. - Also loves to bad mouth team members behind their backs. - Turn over rate in the team is high within a span of a year. I wonder why... - No work life balance. Be prepared to work if you are on sick leave or annual leave or even weekends. You need to be reachable when you're not working. - So called leader is workaholic and messages team members during midnight and on weekends as well. - Toxic culture and abusive environment within specific team member and nothing being done about it. - Micromanagement - No proper office is being provided as you are in a warehouse building with a small room. - Maintenance is really poor. There's no cleaner ever to come to office to clean the cubicles and tables, etc... - Deadly and dangerous environment - Poor amenities. There's no toilet in the building so prepare to walk 5 minutes to another building to take a leak. No pantry as well. Even the water dispenser is awful dirty, taste weird. - There is claim for reimbursement for sick leave but was never given the money to account. - No good benefits. - No work from home policy or even hybrid policy. - Startup culture so no proper software development lifecycle being practice. Delivery speed is prioritized over quality. - Most websites even including certain learning resources website are blocked which is ridiculous. - No flexibility - I would only recommend this company to my greatest enemy.
