Pros
There is a good atmosphere amongst team members. Pay was ok for junior/mid level full timers.
Cons
They are stuck in their ways when it comes to technology, and don't seem to realise that things move forwards. There's a right way and wrong way to approach software development, and the business encourages the short term hack solutions every time.. Which in the long run is a false economy and ensures even ancient codebases are having to be maintained years after game launches. Designers like to do their own thing and don't consider the technical implications of what they provide. They might hire you as perm for 3 months then fire you before your probation has finished, effectively using you like a contractor, when you're on their lower perm rate. Management don't have a clue.
