Pros
Just great people - I've never been in a place where people are so enthusiastic and so willing to help you get the job done. This is a real Can Do place to be. There is great support from colleagues and management for balancing personal and work stuff - I have a kid with severe mental health difficulties and I could not wish for a better employer in terms of supporting me and my family throughout it. We've also got office communities starting again now after lockdown is over and they are organising all sorts of stuff to make everyone feel part of a team. VCP scheme is one of a kind - I don't know of any other organisation that plans to give you shares. For nothing. Three times. Yes, the org has to meet a threshold to achieve it but the fact that its not just the people at the top benefitting is pretty unique. And this is seperate from the Profit Pool annual bonus - again....everyone gets this. Everyone. Unlimited leave - as with all leave, it can mean inbox chaos when you come back but this is such a great perk in terms of managing out of the blue trips and activities Flexibility around working location - three days a week in the office and that can be any of our offices. Its so much better than we used to do before a great balance between home life and being with people and collaborating. Commute still sucks though.
Cons
It's full on and requires you to work at pace - and that can mean things like sitting down to work and realising its midday and you haven't eaten yet. Being back in an office helps with this. You do need to be comfortable with doing lots of different things at once and deadlines moving Work on career progression pathways and job families is only just starting - Future has bought so many organisations and changed so much so its great that this is happening now but its been frustrating for a few years not to know what your options really are internally
