Pros

Great exposure to MSP operations: Working at FusionTek provides strong exposure to the fast-paced environment of a Managed Service Provider (MSP). Employees often gain experience supporting multiple clients and technologies across Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity tools. Opportunities to learn quickly: Because the environment is busy and client-driven, employees can develop technical and client-management skills quickly. Many reviews note that it can be a good place for people early in their IT careers to gain hands-on experience

Cons

Growing pains and operational challenges: Some employees mention that rapid growth has led to process gaps, communication challenges, and organizational growing pains. Heavy workload typical of MSPs: The environment can be very fast-paced with high ticket volumes and multiple client demands, which may lead to long hours and stress. Management and communication concerns: Several reviews reference limited communication between leadership and staff or a management style that can feel overly hands-on or micromanaged.

Pros

It has truly been a pleasure working at FusionTek. One of the highlights of my time here has been the opportunity to create and develop recruiting processes that support the company’s growth and help bring in talented professionals. I’m proud of the foundation we’ve built and the impact it will continue to have on the team. Beyond the systems and processes, what has made this experience so rewarding is the chance to collaborate with intelligent, dedicated colleagues who take pride in their work and share a commitment to delivering the best service in the business.

Cons

Nothing but positive experience all around, thus far. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I’m grateful for the support and growth I’ve experienced here. Hoping to continue for many more.

Pros

Amazing customers. Almost all of the customers in my patch were great. Except for the medical facility that refused to think that they were bound to HIPAA, the hospitality that refused to upgrade their 8 years old laptops, or the law firm that repeatedly tossed engineers and technicians under the bus due to their own incompetence. Work from home was good. Allowed for J1 to function well. The CEO used to manage this team. That was bad. The new CRO manages it now. It is even worse. Benefits are meh. Pay is meh. Coworkers are rockstars and it is hard to find one that does not have a dozen stories of being tossed under the bus by the CEO for a bad customer. I wish them all the best.

Cons

The owner/CEO and his trusted right hand have 0 management/executive experience outside of working here. Zero. Zilch. Nada. No online management courses/seminars. No significant peer mentoring. Nothing. Add in that the owner has embarked on a buying spree and is gobbling up every partly successful (also known as failing) competitor/complimentary company that he can find. Integration is good, the COO has her work cut out for her and she knows what she is doing. But she has 0 CEO support so it is bound to fail.
