Working here SUCKS! - Anonymous Employee Fusion Analytics Employee Review

Pros

Work is remote, but despite that, my work-life balance was pretty terrible because management's demands were so unrealistic. If you're looking for a company to work for, you should definitely avoid Fusion Analytics.

Cons

Working for Fusion Analytics has been such a frustrating experience! The job is stressful, with an overwhelming workload! complicated tasks, and nonexistent support. Management doesn't care about employees' time and boundaries as well, and often calls for meetings at the end of the day, leading to us staying at work longer than expected, and they don't even bother compensating us for our time.

Pros

-Exposure to client-facing analytics work. -Opportunity to work on multiple projects and datasets. -Colleagues are generally capable and supportive at an individual level

Cons

-Poor work-life balance. Late nights and extended hours are often expected and normalized, with little to no acknowledgment or compensation. -No separate sick leave policy. Sick days are deducted from vacation, which discourages employees from taking time off even when unwell. -Lack of recognition for extra effort. Consistently going above and beyond is treated as the baseline, not something worth appreciating. -Team-building activities often feel forced rather than optional, adding to burnout instead of improving morale. -Management communication around workload and expectations lacks transparency and empathy.

Pros

- analytical driven so good for those who like solving problems with math and models - most clients are well-known big corporations - met/presented to the clients' executive teams - remote work

Cons

- being remote work, there are times when it would be more efficient in person vs. video calls - harder to bound with coworkers from other teams being remote - it's not a typical 9-5 job but as expected since it's consulting
