Pros
You get lots of experience doing everyone else's job and although you may never be recognized for filling all these roles, the do make for awesome experience for your resume.
Cons
The company runs off of ancient systems that require manual intervention for every step of every process. This wouldn't be such a big problem, if they didn't have constant turn over and new people screwing everything up. They hire senior leadership that has zero understanding of the business to run the company and leave it to the few remaining lower level managers to do their job for them. Those lower level managers are over worked and overloaded with way too many direct reports and topped with the stress of making sure the company doesn't topple over from its own mismanagement. They bought 13 Verizon states, but still tried to run it like some podunk ma and pa shop, until they bought CA, TX and FL and now want to reorganize to "save money" by laying off half its staff instead of fixing the internal issues that caused them to lose 100million dollars to begin with. There's no insight, no strategy, no direction, no brand, no staff. It's as if they're literally just riding the pony till it falls over and dies.
