Pros

The dedication and hard work exhibited by the employees.

Cons

The only positive aspect that stands out from my experience at the site is the dedication and hard work exhibited by the employees. However, there appears to be a significant disconnect between the management and the workforce. It is evident that the management shows little concern for acknowledging the individuality of the employees. Furthermore, the behavior of the human resources department, displaying disparaging remarks about former employees immediately after their departure, is disconcerting. Overall, the environment seems to be marked by stress and a lack of recognition for diligent employees. Additionally, it is noteworthy that the management's approach seems to prioritize the fulfillment of organizational goals at the expense of the well-being of the production team, particularly in their pursuit of bonuses exclusive to the management team.

Pros

The work at Frontgrade is interesting and tied to real-world missions, which makes the day-to-day feel meaningful. There are a lot of smart, experienced people here, and it’s a good environment for learning about aerospace, defense, manufacturing, quality, and complex program execution. The company has strong technical capabilities and many employees genuinely care about doing things right.

Cons

Some processes are slow, and some tools/systems could be improved.

Pros

Strong mission and products that support critical aerospace and defense customers. Talented employees who genuinely care about customer success and delivering results. Exposure to executive leadership and opportunities to drive meaningful business improvements. Fast-paced environment where motivated individuals can have a significant impact. Growing company with opportunities to broaden experience across functions and business units.

Cons

Organizational structures and processes continue to evolve, creating occasional ambiguity around roles, responsibilities, and decision-making. Inconsistent execution and accountability across functions can make cross-functional initiatives challenging. Communication and alignment between teams can vary depending on the organization and leadership structure. Rapid growth and integration efforts can lead to competing priorities and change fatigue. Career development paths are not always clearly defined.
