Pros
- The engineering teams want to do things the right way and are encouraged to by the upper management - Very competitive salaries (in my experience) - Exposure to lots of different technologies is common - Working across multiple products and tech stacks gives plenty of room to grow as an engineer - Decent benefits to working here; flexible hours around core-business times, an extra day off to be taken in the month of your birthday, etc. - Remote working is very much the standard here, though the offices are always open if you wish to come in - and teams try to do so at least once a week together for a catch up/face to face.
Cons
- I would say the transparency of my role when I first started was a bit lacking, though that may have been due to limitations about what the company could say publicly. - My expectations for my first day were not clearly met beforehand and a miscommunication led to me travel unnecessarily
