FNST feels like a small family company, but operates with the resources of a multibillion-dollar company! - Automotive Sales Freudenberg Group Employee Review

Pros

The bar for excellence is very high - you will not find people here who are fine with "good enough." Also, the sky is the limit for people who want to do a great job; growth opportunities are constantly made available to employees. Work/life balance is great, too.

Cons

Every company has its challenges, and FNST is no exception. But, there are no glaring weaknesses or downsides to working here, as far as I am concerned. This is the best company I have worked for in my career.

Pros

Stable company with broad global reach. Front office jobs not demanding, hybrid schedules and low expectations lead most to be 30-35 hr weeks.

Cons

At first this looks like a positive: you’ll notice that many employees have tenures of 15,20, 30 years. But that leads to a lot of group think and insular behaviors. They actually have a common statement among employees - “you’re not a Freudenberger unless you’ve been here 10 years.” Not exactly a welcoming statement to new employees. If you’d like to have your input and thoughts ignored for a decade, this is the place for you. Convinced they have great technologies, but in market terms, average technology at best. Horrific infighting between divisions. Management meetings resemble Klukluxclan meetings in terms of diversity. Pay scales below market, 401k match very weak
