It is a dog-friendly environment. All the people hired are smart and creative. You have lots of opportunities to find what you want to do and go with it. If you can work autonomously and have a lot of initiative you will succeed.

As a small company the opportunity for promotions and growth can be limited. Everyone is very busy--the company runs lean and sometimes there never feels like enough manpower. The resources for marketing and sales feel limited. Salaries in publishing are substantially lower than in other industries. It's a small entrepreneurial company you need to be ready to change gears at a moment's notice.
