Pros
I just started out of school with freelancing and I found them on Behance. It's been a wonderful relationship as I'll get contacted every now and then by some familiar faces. At first it started off as in-house, but because I had to move back to Los Angeles, they were more than accommodating in hiring me on remotely. They always pay on time and without much problems, the transaction are really easy to deal with, maybe because at the time, the producer and directors I worked with were very nice. And when I made a mistake on my hours, they'd be understanding about it. The projects you get to work on really are great, because they're work with clients who are environmentally focused and deal with things that educate people about certain topics. All in all, it supports the East Bay way of life very much. You get free coffee in the office if they call you in. It's right next to the BART station.
Cons
I don't really have any complaints. I mean, I guess the only thing is you must bring in your own laptop equipment. It's located in Oakland, but the really nice part of Oakland.
