Company bestowes extreme trust in employee 9. No layoffs due to pandemic. 10. If you are paid well, don't leave leave the firm!
Cons
1. The pay has been poor. Some earn a lot on same grade while some are far off. The pay difference on same grade is too much. 2. Old loyal workforce is not valued. They prefer new people who come with big hikes, work for 2-3 years and then leave the firm.Even after being in the company for 5 years ( joined as Fresher) I still have to hit the 6 figure mark. That's how slow the growth can be sometimes. 3. Instead of talent colleges getting preference. The gap between tier 1 vs Tier 2-3 is huge. This gap unfortunately continues even if you are 5 year in the company. Please think before you join if you are from a tier 2-3 college 4. Poor hiring has now made the company top heavy and hence now the people who are already there since long are suffering for their promotions. This is really disappointing for those who put in so much efforts day in and day out and sometimes even nights. Poor reasons are given for not promoting. 5. Pure performance might not guarantee a promotion or good hike. You need to navigate way though politically as well. You need to always ask for a little more which 99% of times will not happen. 6. Quality of consultantis going down day by day. Some of the senior consultant don't even have basic excel and PPT skills which are basic in analytics. 7. Some managers fight for you and some have laxadasical attitude and you suffer. You have to be lucky to get a fighting manager. 8. You might not get the rewards in proportion to the effort you put in.
