I received a test assignment for a DTC AI Video Editor position. The task was almost equivalent to a full day of work, although it was relatively straightforward. I completed it and submitted it the next day, but I never heard back from them. It feels like they may be using job tests as a way to get free content from applicants without any intention of continuing the hiring process. I also sent them a message on LinkedIn. They replied after a week, saying that they had already responded and that perhaps I hadn’t received their email. I asked them to resend it, but once again, I never heard back.
