Pros
Billing/Payment was always timely and Administrators of various departments were always courteous and helpful. Negotiated raise in hourly rate is possible with the right amount of client satisfaction, budget and demonstrated personal performance.
Cons
Timesheet processing is archaic using a non-intelligent PDF, filled in manually (prone to errors), printed, signed and either faxed or scanned/e-mailed (e-mail delivery of signed timesheets was a saving grace).
Benefits were minimal, healthcare policy choices were not much better than what is on the Healthcare.gov portal and no 401K matching (surprising since there is a 6 month wait to begin participating).
No paid holidays, even for contractors on the payroll for more than a year.
