Pros

They hire to work from home. That is the only plus i can see.

Cons

I worked for Moneygram. Onboarding training was bad. It took 1.5 month not to tech me the job i will actually do. I had to figure out it by myself when started to work on the line. Salary is small and bonuses depending on QA working from the same office. What i understood from communication with colleagues there was some speculations with that bonuses, so QA will specifically will choose the worst calls so you are not going to get the bonus. I don’t know, in 6 month working for the company i have never got that performance bonus, even my performance was good. Remember that managers listening what you are doing even when you on the break. After 4.5 month working for the company OP got us on the meeting saying that we will be layed off before our contracts will turn to permanent wity full benefit package. But we will have to work all hours required without possibility to take unpaid leave and maybe to go for interviews. Overall managers intended to count every minute you owe to the company but not to count overtime. For that i had to send email to TL for every time i stayed longer on the call. Company’s culture and values good on paper but it’s was not working in reality.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
