Pros

Hours are good, 9-5 I only applied as I needed something for the time being so which enticed me to stay longer than intended... Standard wage and offers stable employment You can meet some good people as well as some that are total jobsworths. Occasional parties Anything with chips Good location within close proximity of hotels and restaurants.

Cons

Lack of communication for changes. Work can sometimes be monotonous. Don't feel much development within role. There is an abundance of managers and too few leaders There is a very vindictive and malice managerial system, as they work very unprofessionally. They will take things personally and can not make decisions professionally. Everyone in higher positions seems to know each other and just have been in there for years, so they seem to just pull someone else into another position even if they can’t do the job. So the staff on ground level are left with useless managers trying to keep power. It is very political. Everything is a show, and nothing is done how it is said on the tin. It is uncomfortably visible. If for whatever reason they do not like you, they will start gunning for you but by using malicious tactics. Now this should not be confused with the fact that it is a simple job where the current climate one would be looking to get paid on time weekly.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
