Pros
Some coaches there care about you and want to make sure you succeed but only a SELECT FEW and some customers are decent to speak with. Once you’ve done good in your training you do get to choose what kind of shift you want.
Cons
Let’s just start by saying that sitel will hire ANYONE I am not kidding, my resume was alllllllllll messed up and they still hired me. And when I say they will hire anyone I mean just unclassy, ratchet, drug using people (there was a lady in my training class who had withdraws and need to leave the room every 30 minutes and her hands and toes would twitch) so I mean if you were just fired and need to job ASAP this is the one for you. I do find it disappointing whenever they have new hires because the cafeteria and hallways are always crowded and don’t even get me started on the women’s bathroom..... At Sitel some people are nice and there are those that are supposed to be an adult but instead acts like their in high school & whenever you have a question or escalation it takes 10 mins for a coach to come around just for them to tell you to look it up. Like is your job really that hard ? Is this not what you’re supposed to do ? They expect so much out of you and the pay is so little. My friend was pregnant and she was supposed to receive her pay raise before she went on maternity leave and every time she would go to HR she would back upset because it’s still not fixed and she even told them that she will contact someone hire up to fix it and they told her “even you tell them it’s not going to get fixed” Like where the sympathy? There’s always ambulances outside and they cut your hour lunch into 30 minutes out of blue and if you do take an hour they count it as an absence.... What’s sad about this job is that people are desperate enough to work here anyway. It’s a very depressing and it starts to get to you after awhile.
