Pros

Opportunities to progress, easy to move to a new campaign if you want to change roles. Likely to take on young people with little experience. Takes part in apprenticeship schemes. Some of the people are really great.

Cons

The building Sitel is currently located in is so dirty! There are several floors with different companies on and Sitel's floor is well known for being seriously unclean. Dirty outside due to constant smoking and eating in front of the building though I have to admit they have been working on this. It is also repetitive and boring on some campaigns. Management can be very oblivious to what is going on on the call floor and between agents. Really irritating when your stuff gets stolen.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
