Pros

- the people you're in the trenches with are amazing. From Associate all the way up to Partner (with the exception of some upper management, as with everywhere else) - benefits are great - flexible time off - great learning experience

Cons

- they recent merger with Mazars completely hacked the company culture and has diminished morale significantly. This company turned from providing an amazing career path to another robo-firm. - raises are lower - layoffs occur with no notice and sometimes no metrics on the employee side - too many politics in place with upper management when it comes to promotions. You can be a coach of a staff that consistently receives good evaluations and have their promotion recommendation turned down just because of "feeling" from one out of five evaluation providers

Pros

Great opportunity to develop tax and accounting skills while working with experienced professionals.

Cons

Limited exposure to different types of tax returns, and the size of the office sometimes made it difficult to gain broad experience across multiple areas.

Pros

The people here are genuinely kind, and there are definitely positives to the culture. The hybrid schedule is a great benefit, and perks like free snacks, coffee, and lunches during busy season are appreciated. The office environment itself is also pleasant and professional.

Cons

The position is labeled as administrative support, but much of the work involves high-level copyediting, proofreading, and formatting under extremely tight deadlines. Overtime is frequent and often expected with little advance notice, especially when projects arrive late in the day. The pace and pressure can become emotionally draining over time, and it can be difficult to maintain work-life balance. Someone who thrives in a very high-intensity, deadline-driven environment may do well here, but for me the constant urgency and unpredictability made it hard to recharge outside of work
