Pros
The salary is good for the sector and the bonus scheme is generous. Training was always provided for me when requested.
Cons
The business is incredibly cliquey and not very welcoming unless you get in the in crowd. You'll see a lot written about the culture and how unique it is but 90% of people who think the business has a good culture have never worked anywhere else and do not realise the culture is the same if not better at other businesses. Nothing seems to be done until it has everyone's managers approval essentially meaning every little decision needs sign off from the MD. You will be sold the dream at interview and told there are lots of opportunities but this is untrue unless you're a management trainee. The business handled the Coronavirus pandemic badly - didn't allow for working from home until a day after lockdown (asked people to come into work for one day after the announcement to put provisions in place) and then encouraging people back to the offices in July and still encouraging back during November/December when cases rose.
