Depending on the role, you might need to work more evenings/weekends than you might anticipate.

Shadowed the keepers, and interests in animal care were considered when assigning tasks. Lots of neat experiences. Internship dates and times were incredibly flexible.

Communication was challenging with scheduling app, and there was not clear procedures, activities, or experiences for interns to have. Also with the internships being volunteer work, you will not receive financial compensation.
