Genuinely AWFUL working environment. Overworked and barely compensated. I came into this job with 10+ years of barista experience and they barely let me touch the espresso machine but started bar training people who were there for like a week w no prior experience. The management is awful and borderline abusive, if you take more then two minutes to do something, or god forbid ask for a drink of water you get yelled at and i mean YELLED. The back of house is mean and front of house is cliquey. People are right when jt feels like a cult. Only gave me horrible shifts and when i called out ONCE over the span of 6 months they gave me so much bs for it. Also i was getting sexually harassed by my coworker and the manager heard and just laughed. Management has no idea what theyre doing and expect you to be busy every second of the shift even though they put like 10 people on at once. Favoritism here goes crazy and nothing about this job made sense or was worth it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. most miserable 6 months of my life.
