seems stable, secure. seems like a big company

Cons

not stable at all. They laid many people go the past two years. When they let people go, they would first call that person to a meeting, and HR would come collect that person's belongings. And we would never see that person ever again. We are talking about laid off, not firing a person. This way is very cruel. Fear generate within the company for a long period of time. They kept on doing some HR publicity to make things seems more family like, yet, the way they treat staffs are no family. It's truly a company that "say one thing but do another". The system/standard within the company is a mess. They make people taking online courses for management, yet, the upper managements are the ones who fail to know all those being taught. It's so meaningless. That 10% discount, it's quite awful. My friends worked in other closing stores, the least employee discount they get is 30% off. 10% is only good to cover the tax. It's a company with awfully high turnover rate. Yet, they don't try to find out how to make it better for staffs, I am sure they think they are doing just fine.

Pros

Pay was decent, managers were nice, & was scheduled to work every day

Cons

One of the cons was that if you had closing shift during peak season, you weren't allowed to go home until everything was organized (around 1 am)
