Pros

Good pay and equipment. A few good members, and interesting content for the most part.

Cons

The dysfunction and incompetence allowed, and even nurtured, in this company create strong tension, redundant work, and hostility between departments. The first red flag was the excessive discouragement of lawsuits in the new employee paperwork. The next red flag was being yelled at by a staff member like we were in-laws (on my first week of the job). There is very little team morale and too much inappropriate gossip, including from "HR." The final red flag was getting grief for missing work due to emergency circumstances.

Cons

* A bit old school but not necessarily in a bad way

Pros

* Manager committed to processes and improving over time * Feel like suggestions are appreciated most times * Good history and reputation in the industry sectors they represent I feel my experience has been good at Forester Media. I've been treated fairly, had some nice wins that were recognized by my supervisor and management. I've also made a few honest mistakes, which got me in "hot water" with the boss. However, I own my mistakes, am sorry, and it was accepted. I also have a supervisor who's been great at acting as a buffer for our team, and doing what can be done to ensure processes are established and followed so our team can work efficiently. Many of the staff have been around for years. I haven't seen any manipulation or misery the former employees speak of.

Cons

* Slow moving on some initiatives due to getting team consensus (bureaucracy) * Not a whole lot of interaction between departments
